Do I need to download an app?
You can open Homie in your browser at app.myhomie.co.za on your phone, tablet or computer. Sign in or create an account to get started.
Where can I book a clean?
Add your home address in the app to see eligible Homies nearby and their availability. A booking depends on your location, date and the Homie accepting your request.
How much does a clean cost?
Your quote depends on the service and home details you choose. The app shows the total, including the platform fee, before checkout.
Can I use Homie as both a client and a cleaner?
Yes. One account can have both client and Homie access. Each role has its own setup and verification requirements, and you can manage your roles in the app.
I already have a Homie account. What changes?
Use your existing account at app.myhomie.co.za. You may need to sign in again on the new address. Your account, bookings and history stay with your account.
How are payments processed?
Paystack processes payments through its checkout. Homie confirms the result with the payment provider. Your browser returning to the app alone does not confirm payment. Read about payments and refunds.
What does verification mean?
Account checks include private document review. Where offered, a consent-based VerifyNow check confirms a South African ID record. It is not a criminal-background check or a guarantee of safety. Understand the checks.
How do you handle personal information?
We use account and booking information to run the service, with Firebase infrastructure and specialised payment and verification providers. Read the privacy policy or explore your POPIA rights.
